BRITISH GOVERNMENT – NORTHERN IRELAND

Project Description

The Marpaco MP880E was purchased as part of a U.K. government project to replace an old set on site. Our dealer AC Automation was responsible for the installation into a generator room, which had motorised louvres and attenuators, capable of reducing the noise to 65dBA at 100% load.

This set was also installed with a fully synchronised control system capable of working in parallel with mains electricity.

This particular MP880E was successfully tested at the manufacturing facility to a 65% impact load within G2 parameters as seen in the pictures. The MP880E uses the Perkins 4000 series engine which is made in the UK and the Leroy Somer (LSA) alternator range, made in EU.
